I have no idea where my nomadic tendencies come from, but I get the urge to move frequently. We've been in Chicago for 6 1/2 years now and have lived in 4 different neighborhoods! This time moving across town might not be enough. We've still got a lot to figure out on the where, when, and how to move, but there is a chance we will eventually be moving from Chicago.
I make lists of everything. I make lists of lists. So naturally, I've been starting a list of things to do here in Chicago in preparation of the possibility that we won't be here forever. From things we haven't done yet to places we love and need to get back to at least one more time...it's all on the list. Also, I should note, this list is bound to change and grow. Of course, now that I am blogging again (granted this is only the second post since my hiatus), I will tell the internet world of all that we accomplish.

JENNIFER! if you wait around to do all of those things you will never leave! that's quite the list you've got there :).
I'll be honest: on the one hand, I want you to stay in Chicago so we can come visit you every year, but on the other hand, I can't wait to hear where you end up and am constantly crossing my fingers it's across the street from us (!!), although clearly we'll always visit no matter where you are (yes, even Maine!).
As for the list, Chicago Gourmet is awesome, but it's the weekend of our visit so you may not get to go in '11 and I doubt you want to stay for '12 (ha!!). For restaurants, I'd suggest adding Alinea, Schwa, and Bonsoiree. Yes, they are pricey, but they are a great experience if you can talk Jon into it. If you have to choose one, go to Bonsoiree (although Jon will pout since it's BYO). Also! You can remove Topolo/Frontera: it isn't all it's cracked up to be, and Xoco is WAY awesome - I'd put that one twice. Also, Hot Dougs - we never went ;(.
H: Find us a place on the cheap and we're there!
As for the list, I've already come up with more additions. I'm an excellent multi-tasker though (insert sarcastic tone), so we'll get it all in. Besides, there's no deadline...yet. :)
