Everyone seems to have a blog these days. Honestly, I started mine because I was bored. Like many others in 2009, I unexpectedly became unemployed and went from working 60+ hours a week to having nothing to do and only my dog to talk to during the day. So, I started blogging.
What the heck is this blog about? Well, it's intended to be an online sketchbook: a place to share my design inspirations, creations, and general life happenings. Inspirations are discovered every day. Sometimes it's the little things that I don't always notice when I'm too busy rushing through life or working too many hours (now that I have another job). Most of the time I'll use this blog as a space to take a breather and share some of the things I love. I may write stories about other people's designs, my own creations, music, running, eating, cooking, travelling, or sometimes even architecture. Basically, I'll be writing about anything and everything that happens when I'm on my second wind...ha...get it? Hence, the title of my blog...second wind {studios}.
